Gardening in Early Learners
Early learners have been making the most of the good weather this week and making our garden area look lovely while improving our understanding of the world. We were able to engage with different plants and explore their texture as well as the colours we could see. We were able to dig the soil and water the plants to ensure that they will grow this term.

Working with Local Artists
Rowan Tree were very lucky to have the opportunity to work with a local artist Victoria. You may have seen some of our previous work in the school entrance. This time we worked together to paint and print we also used collage, felt making, stitch and ‘clay‘ modelling techniques. We are looking forward to the finished piece of art to be displayed within the Early Years Department.
With a nature theme running throughout, the pieces will be really warm, lots of foliage, bark textures, flowers, creatures and creepy crawlies. It will be a like an immersive experience walking through it. Well done everyone on your fabulous artwork, as well as fantastic engagement and speaking & listening skills.
