Our first day at the Children’s Adventure Farm Trust has been a total success! We went to meet all the animals that we will be feeding tomorrow morning. Then we spent the rest of the day exploring and spending time in each activity room that the farm offers such as the Art Room, Music Room and even the Sensory Suite!

We’ve had no issues at all at bedtime and everyone is having a great time!
This morning some of our children set out on the journey to the brilliant Adventure Farm for a week of learning, adventure and fun. I wonder if the animals are as excited as the children? We’ll be posting pics throughout the week so you can see what they’ve been getting up to down at the farm.
Animation is so much fun! Daisy, our head digital leader, loves to make stop motion animations, so we organised a stop motion animation workshop for other children to come and learn too. Daisy even taught Mrs Williams how to create an animation so she can use it with her class.

A group of our children have been chosen for the new pupil role of Digital Leader in school. The job of a digital leader is to share their excellent ICT skills to support other children and staff in school.
Our latest production ‘We All Went on Safari’ is based on the book by Laurie Krebs and Julia Cairns. We’ve used lots of different techniques to produce the film; The children have worked extremely hard creating and performing with puppets, stop motion animation, acting and signing. George showed off his excellent reading skills for the narration and CJ did a great job of reading the numbers in Swahili. A big well done to all the children who were involved, you should all be very proud of yourselves. We hope you enjoy our film.
Here’s the lovely video from our Signalong Christmas performance from Early years and KS1. During the performance the children used symbols, signs and singing to celebrate al the wonderful things about Christmas time.
Here is the first production from the Total Communication Media project featuring our very own cast of superstars. With some fantastic acting, animation, artwork, narration and Signalong our children really pulled out all the stops to bring you this fabulous version of “Please Don’t Chat to the Bus Driver” based on the story by Shen Robbie and Jill Newton. See if you can learn some Signalong for different animals and join in with the story.
