Yesterday afternoon KS1 took part in an Art workshop held by Rowan Tree’s local artist: Olivia in Ash 1!
Olivia drew amazing pictures linked to school and the children took turns to paint them for the KS1 display and also a smaller version to take home. They had such a wonderful afternoon and enjoyed showing off their painting skills! Thank you Olivia for sharing your talents!!

Author Day @ RTP
Each half term, the children at Rowan Tree celebrate a different author. This term’s author was Eric Carle. Classes engaged with lots of themed activities. In the messy playroom there was a Hungry Caterpillar theme and in the immersive learning room there was a story time activity themed on Brown Bear Brown Bear what do you See? The day was lots a fun and the children had lots of opportunities to immerse themselves in Eric Carle’s work. Great job everyone!
Rugby Star
We are incredibly proud of Kian and his achievements taking part within a Rugby tournament over the weekend. Kian couldn’t wait to tell his friends all about it and his successful attempts to score two tries, as this is a sport that he really enjoys.
Cohen our Leigh Leopard’s LD Super League champion!
We are so proud of Cohen in Willow 2. He has started to play in Leigh Leopard’s LD Super League tag rugby team.
Cohen played his first match against Salford a few weeks ago and even scored a try. We are so pleased to see that Cohen is taking all of the skills he has learnt in school during P.E and Sports competition and using this to play for a team outside of school.
