Oak 2 Haigh High Ropes Adventure

Some of Oak 2 visited Haigh Hall to take on the high ropes course for the first time! All of the group listened to the instructors’ instructions and put on their harnesses and helmets. Some of the children and staff were very brave and conquered the course, some even did it twice!
Oak 2 are looking forward to the next high ropes session.

Bendrigg 2022 | Day 4: Awards and s’mores

We ended our Bendrigg adventure with s’mores and awards for the brilliant week of adventure they have had. We are so proud of every pupil for giving their best and trying new activities.

In the afternoon we journeyed to North Yorkshire to explore some real caves. We learned about how caves are made and saw a giant waterfall and paddled in the pool it runs too.

We were able to choose from some of our favourite activities in the afternoon, we went on the bikes, sensory swing and the park.

We started day 3 of our holiday with a paddle around the lake. We learned how to put together the canoes and how to row them as a team.

In the evening some of us chose to go into the indoor cave, we explored the cave using our head torches alone and made up some of our own games to play.

We went on the zip-wire and sensory swing, we chose our own songs to listen to while on the swing.

This morning we went rock climbing and abseiling. We learnt about the different equipment needed and how to support each other when climbing.
