A few pupils from across school will be visiting Meadowbank primary School every Thursday afternoon to develop their communication, PSHE skills and play skills with new friends. Today, a few children from maple 2 went for their first visit. They enjoyed icing cakes, filling and emptying porridge oats, rolling and shaping playdough, games on the computer plus outside play!
Trips
Bobbing along to Oak 2
As part of the well-being curriculum Oak 2 went boating. The pupils and staff listened to safety instructions and put on life jackets then all climbed into the bell boat and went for a tour around Scotsman’s flash. The pupils and staff used the ore to row the boat around (they had some help from the instructor).
Oak 2 Haigh High Ropes Adventure
Some of Oak 2 visited Haigh Hall to take on the high ropes course for the first time! All of the group listened to the instructors’ instructions and put on their harnesses and helmets. Some of the children and staff were very brave and conquered the course, some even did it twice!
Oak 2 are looking forward to the next high ropes session.
