We invited the local Church for a Valentines themed afternoon tea. The school council greeted them with confidence and introduced the afternoon. Members of the school council then helped to serve cakes as well as recite a Valentines Poem that they had written and learn to perform during their drama session. Younger pupils from across school then show cased some of their favourite songs to dance to.
We also asked Church members to vote for their favourite pieces of artwork that classes had produced as part of our Rowan Tree Art Gallery.
Such a lovely thing to do with the local community I know the children enjoyed it too
