Children’s Mental health Week ‘Let’s Connect’

As a school we recognise the important of children’s mental health and work hard every day to make sure pupils are happy, regulated and know that there is someone to talk to if they need to. For Children’s Mental Health week, we used the theme of ‘Let’s connect’ to promote this even further. Throughout the week classes were paired up and encouraged to do lots of different activities together, we also had Alison and Mandi (who are trained in Lego Therapy) offer Brick Club for lots of different children from around school as well as Gareth (Literacy lead) to deliver drama sessions based around mental health.
We had such a fun week ‘connecting’ and lots of classes are carrying on with these activities weekly connecting and learning with different friends from across school.
