Birch 2 had a great time at Howe Bridge Activity festival- they tried out lots of new sports alongside children from other schools.

Elm 1 form friendships at Meadowbank
Pupils from Elm 1 have visiting Meadowbank School now for a few weeks and they are building some beautiful friendships with the learners there. They have been lucky with the weather on these trips and have been able to take advantage of both their indoor and outdoor provision.
Ash 1 Valentines
Ash 1 have been doing lots of lovely learning in relation to our PSHE topic “Looking after me and others”. Pupils have been attempting to distinguish between older and younger people, before suggesting different ways in which we can care for them.
One of the ways we’ve gone about this is by creating a heart filled with lovely messages for members of the local assisted living facility known as Belong Atherton. Residents will be able to pull a heart from the large cut out and find a valentines message behind each.
