Space Day

On Friday 5th May we celebrated International Space Day to embed and generalise learning for our Lower Key Stage 2 learners and to challenge our Upper Key stage 2 leaners to ‘know more and remember more’ and to draw on learning from their previous topic. It also allowed pupils to share their understanding of Space and Earth with our younger learners from KS1 and Early Learners.
All pupils had lots of fun in the Sensory room exploring lights/objects and dressing up. In the Immersive learning room they went to space in a rocket and walked on the moon. We also looked at different stories related to space and the Earth and designed and prepared biscuits that looked like the different planets.
