Each pupil in school had the opportunity to compete in a Pancake Making Competition on Shrove Tuesday. They joined their class in listening to some facts about Shrove Tuesday. They learnt that it is also called Pancake Tuesday and Fat Tuesday. The pupils had the opportunity to design, make and decorate their own pancakes. They had step by step instructions to help them for each stage. The pupils weighed out the flour, measured the correct amount of milk and helped mix the ingredients together. The pupils then used their drawings to help them to make the finished product.
