One year on

Today in school we took part in the National Day of Reflection to reflect on our collective loss, support those who have been bereaved, and hope for a brighter future.

Each class had a one minute silence. This was a period of  ‘quiet time’ in class that children coped really as well with.)

In addition to this, after school, staff held another minute of  silence in our Memorial Garden. The garden is in memory of pupils and staff who have passed away   Staff took some time to reflect and say prayers in their own ways as Deanne and Ann planted two new honeysuckles to remind us of those who died across the world during the  pandemic.
